I Took Antidepressants During Pregnancy

When my husband and I began to think about starting a family,
I decided to wean off the antidepressants I’d been taking for several years to
manage my depression and anxiety. The medication I took was a Class C drug, which
meant it hadn’t been proven to be safe for use during pregnancy. With consultation

    Thank you so much for sharing this.
    My hope is that other mothers will read your post and will find ways to let go of any guilt they may have around nursing and their necessity for anti-depressants. That they realize the importance of self care.

    I know that this is a delicate topic. But I also know that me and my family suffered greatly by me waiting too long to get back on anti-depressants.
